Lake Washington School District – Margaret Mead Elementary School, WA

The successful April 2016 bond measure achieved by the Lake Washington School District secured payment for the most urgent projects that were recommended by the District’s Long-Term Facilities Planning Task Force. The Task Force identified projects’ matters deemed to be pressing and are to be addressed by the School District by 2030. Following this analysis, WT was engaged in 2017 by OAC to provide cost management, modeling and bond planning on the 79,000 SF new Margaret Mead Elementary school.

UC Merced 2020 Housing: Sentinel Rock

The Merced 2020 Project will see the Merced campus expanded to support a significant increase in student intake including enhancements to academic, administrative, research, recreational, student residence and student services buildings, utilities and infrastructure, outdoor recreation and open space areas, and associated roadways, parking and landscaping. The project is intended to be completed in phases and is slated by UC to cost circa USD 1bn.

Student Housing West, UC Santa Cruz, CA (USA)

UC Santa Cruz is undertaking a major housing initiative. The Student Housing West project is part of President Napolitano’s system-wide initiative to build 14,000 beds across the UC by 2020. The UCSC initiative was announced in December 2016.

NEW ALOHA STADIUM ENTERTAINMENT DISTRICT

The New Aloha Stadium Entertainment District (NASED) aims to create an exciting and vibrant new Aloha Stadium and surrounding district. The new multipurpose stadium will include a minimum of 25,000 seats and be designed to enhance the fan experience with a comprehensive array of amenities and support spaces to market new events, including various seating options, extensive concessions, and efficient facility circulation. Development of the surrounding district is expected to include residential market and housing options, hotels, office, retail, commercial, and entertainment uses, as well as an important anchor to the newly constructed transit-oriented development (TOD) system.
