WT provided cost management services for the Midfield Satellite Concourse (“MSC”) South project at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). MSC South is an eight gate, two level, 150,000 SF terminal facility connected directly to the MSC North project, currently under construction.

The new MSC South Terminal will serve group III aircraft, including the Boeing 737 and Airbus 320. The entire MSC (North and South) Terminal will be accessed by tunnel from Tom Bradley International Terminal or by bus from a number of domestic Terminals.

The new concourse will provide additional domestic gates for increased capacity and enable guests using the facility to access concessions, services, and lounge areas at Tom Bradley and the new MSC North. Design of MSC South is scheduled for completion mid 2021 with entirely air-side construction scheduled for completion in 2023.
