In April 2014, the WESTADIUM consortium was selected as Preferred Respondent for the design, build, partial finance and maintenance (DBFM) contract for the Perth Stadium and Sports Precinct.

The redevelopment of Eden Park Stadium for the 2011 Rugby World achieved Practical Completion in August 2010.

Originally built as a replacement for Waverley Park, the 52,500 seat Docklands Stadium, features a fully retractable roof and movable seating enabling the venue to host not only AFL but cricket, rugby, soccer and live music events.

WT provided post contract financial management for the Stage 3 Redevelopment project which aimed to increase the ground’s crowd capacity to 34,500 and broaden the range of sports and community activities the stadium can host.

As part of a consortium including KPMG, HOK and others, WT Partnership developed and priced a number of options of the redevelopment of both Canberra Stadium and Manuka Oval.

The iconic Melbourne Rectangular Stadium, known as AAMI Park, has capacity for over 30,000 patrons and features a cutting edge ‘bio-frame’ roof which does not require support columns, a design that provides extensive seat coverage and excellent spectator sight lines whilst requiring 50% less steel than a traditionally constructed cantilever roofing system.

Following decommissioning as an official AFL match ground in 2005, the home of Carlton Football Club was redeveloped to include state of the art training and administration facilities for the team.

The Club Stand is a $128 million state-of-the-art facility set to revolutionize the race-day experience at Flemington.
