Originally built as a replacement for Waverley Park, the 52,500 seat Docklands Stadium, features a fully retractable roof and movable seating enabling the venue to host not only AFL but cricket, rugby, soccer and live music events.

WT Partnership were engaged by Olympic Park Management in 1996 to provide full quantity surveying services for a proposal to locate an AFL sized stadium at Olympic Park.

It was subsequently decided to build the new stadium at Docklands. WT Partnership undertook business case studies, value management and tender evaluations prior to selection of the successful D & C Builder.

In early 2010 the venue suffered major storm damage to the external roof and flood damage to the Stadium’s entertainment precinct. As the original cost managers WT Partnership had an intimate knowledge of the venue and were engaged by FM Global to assist them with costing and managing repairs.

WT Partnership currently provide all cost management services to the Stadium management on upgrades and new works as well as loss adjustor works relating to insurance claims.
