Following decommissioning as an official AFL match ground in 2005, the home of Carlton Football Club was redeveloped to include state of the art training and administration facilities for the team.

Redevelopment works to the 35,000 seat ground included the demolition of two existing stands and the construction of a new 5,400 m2 two level facility including:

▪       Gymnasium, weights and stretch areas;

▪       4 lane, 25 metre indoor heated pool;

▪       Medical offices and rehabilitation/treatment areas;

▪       Football administration offices;

▪       Lecture theatre and meeting rooms; and

▪       Change room facilities.

The new facility includes a gym, warm up area, ‘altitude’ room, aquatic centre, function space, cafe, sports consulting suites and administration space.

WT provided full quantity surveying services to the City of Melbourne including preparation of tender documentation and cost management services throughout construction. The project was tendered within the budget, and completed in stages for occupation by the club from December 2009 to February 2010.
