The redevelopment of Eden Park Stadium for the 2011 Rugby World achieved Practical Completion in August 2010. The project includes a three tier South Stand which includes the main players changing facilities, 52 corporate boxes, hospitality lounges, public concourses, commentary and broadcast suites and seating for 21,500.

The existing eastern terraces have been demolished and replaced with a 2 tier east stand providing 10,000 seats.

The redevelopment included an internalised pedestrian concourse linking all 4 stands, transport centre, parking and external works and will provide a total legacy of 50,000 seats.

The project also included overlay works for the 2011 Rugby World Cup including the temporary stands and associated overlay facilities which were completed and tested during the 2011 Bledisloe Cup.

The temporary stands increased the overall capacity of the ground to 62,000 and were dismantled immediatly after the Rugby World Cup final.

WT Partnership have provided full Quantity Surveying and Cost Management services on the Redevelopment since 2005. The redevelopment project was completed early and within budget.
