In April 2014, the WESTADIUM consortium was selected as Preferred Respondent for the Public Private Partnership (P3) Project with a design, build, partial finance and maintenance (DBFM) contract for the Perth Stadium and Sports Precinct. Exclusive negotiations with the State have since concluded with agreement on all the terms and conditions.

The Stadium will be a world-class, 60,000 seat multi-purpose venue capable of hosting both sport and entertainment events completed in time for the start of the 2018 Australian Football League season.

WT undertook business case support, master planning and cost planning services for the project definition phase of the project utilising extensive experience and benchmarking data from our recent experience on AAMI Park, Etihad Stadium, Adelaide Oval and the Melbourne Cricket Ground on behalf of the WA Government.

Following release to market, WT provided strategic advisory services to one of the bidders through provision of Lenders’ Technical Advisory, Facilities Management and cost advice. WT Partnership will continue to service the project through to completion through the provision of Independent Certifier and Financiers’ Certifier Services in conjunction with Savills Project Management.
