Ontario Provincial Police Modernization Phase 2, Ontario (CAN)

WT was appointed as the Independent Certifier for the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Modernization Phase 2 Project. The project’s goal was to enhance modern police operations by constructing 10 new detachment facilities across Ontario:

• Huron County Detachment, 325 Albert Street, Clinton
• Mississauga, 2735 Argentia Road, Mississauga
• Hawkesbury Detachment, 1425 Cameron Street, Hawkesbury
• Manitoulin Island Detachment, 54 Boosneck Road, Little Current
• Marathon Detachment, 101 Peninsula Road, Marathon
• West Parry Sound Detachment, 1 North Road, Parry Sound
• Rainy River District Detachment, 901 Colonization Road West, Fort Frances
• Moosonee Detachment, 16 Butcher Road, Moosonee
• Orillia Detachment, 1 University Avenue
• Cambridge Detachment, 1360 Hespeler Road, Cambridge

WT’s role as Independent Certifier included consulting with the Design-Builder, conduct inspections of the construction, provide monthly reports, review and comment on deficiencies, and issue certificates of completion. As the Independent Certifier, were trusted to exercise the standard and skill, care and diligence in the performance of the certification services provided.
