Honolulu, HI — Aloha Stadium is saying goodbye this Saturday, February 25th, as it pays tribute with a limited tour and viewing of the Hawaii Sports Hall of Fame, Old Queen Street Stadium Museum and event memorabilia from the past 47 years.

Aloha Stadium will be hosting one final event in the stadium facility before redevelopment begins with featured live performances on the Entertainment Stage and fun activities such as a photo booth, Keiki Art Zone, Barefoot League Field Activities, Field Goal Kicks, ESPN personality meet and greet and Live Art Murals by Gary Draws Fish.

Programming on the Entertainment Stage will kickoff from 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm with ESPN Honolulu, Pearl City High School Band, Te Vai Ura Nui, Crossing Rain, Barefoot League, Mahalo for the Memories; VIP speeches and close with live music featuring the following artists:

  • Duncan Kamakana
  • Hui Pu
  • Frank DeLima
  • Kawika Kahiapo
  • Sean Na’auao
  • Waipuna

About the New Aloha Stadium Entertainment District Project:

The State of Hawaii is currently undergoing two concurrent procurements for the new stadium and real estate development. The proposed project will entail the remediation and construction of a world-class mixed-use development across 100 acres. Central to the plan will be delivery of a new build stadium for approximately 25,000 to 30,000 seats alongside much needed housing, complimentary commercial developments including hotels, restaurants, retail, public realm, as well as connectivity to a newly constructed transit-oriented development (TOD) node.
