WTP sponsored the 15th hole at the 2015 Burdekin Association Annual Charity Golf Tournament. The Tournament took place at Cromer Golf Course on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. The event was a huge success with an attendance of 70+ players including several from the construction industry. Steven Hennessey and Tim Hartley were there to represent WTP and enforce the support for the charity on the day.
Fortunately after consistent April storms, the sun came out to bless Steve and Tim on their struggle around the challenging course. With maximum possible handicaps, they were in with a good chance of setting new records at the club. They each had their fair share of good shots, but unfortunately some missed opportunities saw any hopes of a prize dwindle, finishing a good 10 shots behind the prize winners.
The Burdekin Association provides support, accommodation and hope to children and young people between 12 and 24 years and their families. They provide early intervention and family support to prevent family breakdown by providing practical support to young people and families.
