From WT’s very first US based project, UC Merced 2020 to our recent appointment at Winthrop University, WT is proud to work alongside higher education leaders to provide clear cost guidance, disciplined planning, and confidence throughout the project lifecycle.
UC Merced 2020 (DBFOM) – Merced, California

A $1.3B, DBFOM public‑private partnership delivering over 1.2 million SF across 13 academic, research, student life, and infrastructure facilities as a transformational expansion of the UC Merced campus. WT served as Owner’s Representative and infrastructure advisor, providing cost estimating, procurement support, change management, and delivery oversight throughout all phases of design and construction.
UC Santa Cruz Student Housing West – Santa Cruz, California

A large‑scale campus housing development delivering approximately 3,000 new student beds as part of the University of California system‑wide housing expansion initiative. WT provided end‑to‑end project delivery, alternative delivery advisory, transaction management, stakeholder coordination, and cost management through procurement and implementation.
University of Toronto Maanjiwe nendamowinan – Mississauga, Ontario

A six‑storey LEED Silver academic building replacing the former North Building, delivering modern classrooms, study spaces, and interdisciplinary teaching facilities for the UTM campus. WT delivered comprehensive cost management, payment certification, and change control services to maintain cost certainty and scope control throughout project delivery.
Emily Carr University of Art + Design – Vancouver, British Columbia

A purpose‑built, state‑of‑the‑art academic facility supporting interdisciplinary art, media, and design education within Vancouver’s Great Northern Way creative campus. WT (formerly SSA Quantity Surveyors Ltd.) provided cost management and quantity surveying services, supporting budgeting, cost planning, and financial control throughout design and construction.
UTSA Integrated Delivery Project Management – San Antonio, TX

A capital expansion program supporting multiple campus developments, including the National Security Collaboration Center, to advance UTSA’s academic and research mission. WT acted in a program management role, delivering stakeholder engagement, delivery strategy development, due diligence, procurement support, and alternative delivery analysis.
University of Houston at Sugar Land – Sugar Land, Texas

A strategic master planning and development initiative for a 40‑acre site focused on industry partnerships and future campus expansion. WT provided infrastructure advisory and P3 planning services, including delivery model analysis, funding strategies, stakeholder mapping, governance, and real estate advisory.
MIT Undergraduate Advising Center – Boston, Massachusetts

A new undergraduate advising hub located along MIT’s Infinite Corridor, designed to support student success through flexible, welcoming advising and collaboration spaces. WT provided conceptual cost estimating services to support early design decision‑making and budget validation.
Winthrop University Withers Building – Rock Hill, South Carolina

The renovation and modernization of a key academic building to enhance instructional space and support Winthrop University’s long‑term campus strategy. WT provided cost management and quantity surveying services, supporting budgeting, cost control, and financial oversight during delivery.
