PENTICTON, BC – WT is pleased to celebrate the completion of Okanagan College’s student housing programme with the successful delivery of the College’s new student residence in Penticton, which achieved occupancy on 11 August 2026. The residence completes a transformative initiative that has delivered purpose-built student housing at Okanagan College’s campuses in Kelowna, Vernon, Salmon Arm, and Penticton, creating accommodation capacity for an additional 623 students across the region.
WT provided Cost Management & Quantity Surveying services, including cost estimating and independent payment certification across Okanagan College’s broader student housing programme. WT supported the successful delivery of residence developments in Kelowna, Vernon, Salmon Arm, and Penticton.
The completion of the Penticton residence represents a significant milestone in Okanagan College’s commitment to enhancing the student experience through accessible, modern, and convenient on-campus housing. Together, the four residences strengthen campus communities and provide students with greater opportunities to live, learn, and connect throughout their academic journey.

As Payment Certifier, WT provided independent financial oversight throughout project delivery, helping ensure construction progress and associated payments were assessed fairly, consistently, and in accordance with project requirements. This role supported transparency, accountability, and effective project governance across the programme.
With the Penticton residence now complete, Okanagan College has achieved its goal of providing dedicated student housing at each of its campuses. The programme leaves a lasting legacy of expanded housing opportunities and enhanced campus life for current and future students across the region.
