Delivered through a Design, Build, Finance (DBF) model, the QEW Credit River Improvement project comprises the construction of a 250-metre-long twin bridge across the Credit River, alongside the rehabilitation of the existing bridge.
The project scope includes widening the bridge from a six-lane mainline cross-section to eight lanes with auxiliary lanes, upgrading the existing roadway, enhancing interchanges and ramps, and the construction of a new overpass.
WT provided comprehensive pre-bid due diligence services to the successful proponent. This included a thorough review of the commercial structure, cost estimates, scheduling, and the technical solution for the project through to Financial Close. WT then certified construction costs and delivered monthly monitoring reports to the project’s lenders to support financing and risk management.
