Meet Matthew

Over the course of my 25-year career, I have worked in various senior leadership roles in both the public and private sectors. I currently serve as the Chief Operating Officer for the U.S. and oversee our Real Estate, P3 Advisory, Cost Management and Project Delivery practices. I have the privilege of leading a dynamic multidisciplinary team that helps both public and private sector clients assess, procure and deliver innovative infrastructure and capital projects.

Prior to WT, I served as President at Capstone Development Partners, where I helped the firm develop a new property and asset management company and supported the successful pursuit and delivery of numerous projects. I also spent more than 20 years in the public sector serving in senior leadership roles at Arizona State University, Oklahoma State University and Kansas State University. My areas of expertise include Public-Private Partnerships, operational planning and asset management.

I thrive on the opportunity to help our partners solve complex challenges and deliver transformative new buildings and infrastructure projects that make a positive and meaningful impact on their organizations and communities. Regardless of the sector or asset type, quality facilities have the power to create a sense of place, facilitate learning, enhance services, and generate revenue to support an organization’s mission and goals. Devising innovative and effective strategies to develop and deliver these new facilities is my passion.

I graduated from Pittsburg State University, where I majored in Political Science. I also hold a master’s from Oklahoma State and a Ph.D. from Indiana State University. My wife Cheryl and I live in Denver with our six children. When I am not busy with work, you can find me on the hiking trails or fly fishing in the mountains.
