Meet George

Vice President (Cost Consulting)
Based: Boston

Prior to joining WT Partnership in 2019 as a Vice President (Cost Consulting), I was the Director of Cost Management in East Canada at BTY Group. During my nine years at BTY, I helped the company’s Toronto office develop its cost management services in Ontario and Quebec, Canada. The projects I have led covers commercial, residential, health care, education, transit/transportation, civil as well as other sectors.

Most recently, I’ve led WT’s civil cost consulting team on a comprehensive transit program for Infrastructure Ontario, providing the preparation of construction and project cost estimates, market condition review, advice on risk and escalation forecasts, peer review and VE exercise support to the agency’s Technical Advisor.

I obtained my Master of Engineering from Concordia University, Montreal, Quebec, where he majored in Building Engineering. I also have a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China.Additionally, I am a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and also have a designation of Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS) from the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (CIQS).

I currently live in Boston, MA with my wife and five-year-old daughter. In my spare time, I enjoy reading books of Confucius and Daoism and, also, writing poems that strictly follow ancient Chinese literature structures.
