The SR 400 Express Lanes project was a significant infrastructure initiative aimed at enhancing mobility along a critical corridor in Atlanta, Georgia.

The project encompassed approximately 16 miles of new express lanes along State Route 400, stretching from the North Springs MARTA Station in Fulton County to north of McFarland Parkway in Forsyth County. Key components included the construction of eight new bridges, replacement of eight existing bridges, and widening of four existing bridges. Additionally, the project featured a 35-year maintenance component following completion.

WT provided a comprehensive suite of pre-bid due diligence services to one of the shortlisted proponents, acting as the Lenders’ Technical Advisor. Our role involved detailed technical assessments, risk evaluations, and cost analyses to support informed decision-making during the bidding process. Despite the project’s procurement being canceled in August 2021, WT’s involvement demonstrated our capability to deliver critical advisory services on large-scale transportation infrastructure projects.
