The world-class Ontario Science Centre has found its new home at Ontario Place. The redevelopment delivers a state-of-the-art facility featuring immersive, interactive exhibits, innovative programming, and the careful preservation and revitalization of the iconic pod complex and Cinesphere. Once complete, the Science Centre continues its legacy of inspiring curiosity and learning for generations to come.
WT serves as the Independent Certifier for this landmark, billion-dollar Design, Build, Finance, and Maintain (DBFM) project. Acting as an impartial authority, WT provides independent oversight throughout construction, safeguarding contractual compliance and project integrity.
The role includes monitoring construction progress, conducting site inspections, tracking deficiencies, issuing Substantial Completion and Final Completion certificates, and facilitating clear communication between stakeholders to ensure the project is delivered transparently and in accordance with the project agreement.
