Delivered via a P3, the Ontario Court of Justice project involved the construction of a state-of-the-art, 17-storey and largest courthouse in Ontario. It consolidates six Ontario Court of Justice criminal court locations into one modern facility, streamlining access to justice services. The building features 73 courtrooms, including specialty courts for drug treatment, youth, and mental health, as well as 90 judicial chambers and offices for various justice-related services such as Crown Attorneys and police.

WT provided Independent Certifier services during the construction phase of the Design, Build, Finance, and Maintain project. As a neutral third party jointly appointed by the Project Co and the Owner, WT monitored construction progress, certified monthly payments, conducted site inspections, tracked deficiencies, issued Substantial Completion and Final Completion certificates, and facilitated clear communication between stakeholders to ensure contractual compliance and successful project delivery.
