The Highway 104 project involved the construction of a new 10-kilometer 4-lane divided highway, the twinning of 28 kilometers of existing highway, the creation of two new interchanges and the construction of 24 bridges. The project also included upgrading and repaving an existing 2-lane section to like-new conditions, ensuring improved safety and efficiency for road users across Nova Scotia.

WT provided a comprehensive suite of pre-bid due diligence services to one of the shortlisted proponents in the early stages of the project. Later, WT was jointly appointed by the Government of Nova Scotia and the successful proponent to serve as the Independent Certifier, ensuring that all project requirements were met to the highest standards.

Throughout the construction process, WT worked closely with the project stakeholders to monitor progress, certify milestones, and maintain compliance with contract terms, playing an integral role in delivering the project on time and within scope.
