The Central Health Long-Term Care Centre is Atlantic Canada’s first P3 project, involving the construction of two new 60-bed long-term care facilities in Gander and Grand Falls-Windsor. The Gander facility was also designed to allow for future expansion of approximately 105 additional beds.
WT provided Independent Certifier services in support of the construction period in relation to the Design, Building, Finance and Maintenance of the project. Scope of work included consulting with the Design-Builder, conducting inspections of the construction, provide monthly reports, review and comment on deficiencies, and issue certificates of completion.
