WT appoints Sports Development & Operations Expert to growing national team.

Leading advisory firm WT welcomes Kevin Austin, Senior Advisor to their Sports, Venues & Entertainment group.

Santa Monica, 4/30/2019 —WT Partnership (“WT”) has announced the hire of Senior Advisor – Sports, Venues & Entertainment, Kevin Austin. Based in WT’s growing Santa Monica office, Austin is an experienced arena and stadium professional, providing WT with a proven facility and event management resource on large-scale Sports and Entertainment venue projects across North America.

Austin will immediately take on the role of Program Manager for the firm’s role in reshaping Hawaii’s famous Aloha Stadium which is currently in the works for a State-backed redevelopment.

Prior to joining WT, Austin served as Project Manager and Owner’s Representative on major stadiums and arenas including the recently completed Milwaukee Buck’s Arena, WI’s Fiserv Forum, San Antonio, TX’s Alamodome and Canada’s Mosaic Stadium. Additionally, Austin’s ten years spent in the role of Stadium Manager for both collegiate and professional sports franchises, has developed his specialization in working with owners to “ensure that end-user operations are at the forefront, across the entirety of a project.”

When asked about the opportunity to join the WT team, Austin commented, “Aloha Stadium’s redevelopment has been something I have followed for some time — I am looking forward to being a part of a project that is so vital to the island.” Austin continued, stating that WT’s “global presence and innovative approach to stadium development projects” were key factors in his decision to join the firm and support their growth across the sector in North America.
