Meet Nahomi

Senior Program Manager
Based: Los Angeles

A California girl through and through, I was born in the San Joaquin Valley and currently reside in Santa Cruz. I joined WT Partnership in 2016 while completing a Management degree at the University of California, Merced. Prior to WT Partnership, I interned with the Design and Construction Department at UC Merced where I learned the basics of contract management, program management, and procurement. As a Senior Program Manager for WT, I work on the strategic planning and delivery of a number of Public Private Partnerships (P3) projects including portfolio level oversight of contracts, design review, and stakeholder management.

Since joining WT, the most rewarding part has been witnessing the North American firm grow to its current success, followed closely by working alongside brilliant colleagues who appreciate the necessity of fun amongst our line of work. In an industry where you are responsible for multi-million dollar projects, I believe successful project managers are those who can establish strong relationships built on trust. In my role as a Senior Program Manager at WT, I aspire to live up to this notion by listening to our client’s needs, completing the hard tasks that others might shy away from – the right way, and following through on my commitments.

My professional values can be summed up as follows: Proactive, Trustworthy, and Authentic.

When I’m not keeping busy with work you can find me binge-watching shows on Netflix, talking walks with my crazy Jack Russell Terrier, or spending time with loved ones.

The Student Housing West Project, UC Santa Cruz – a creation of 3,000 beds brings much needed relief to the existing housing crisis that current students at UC Santa Cruz are facing. As a recent College Graduate, having the opportunity work on this project is tremendously rewarding as I know that it’s completion will have a direct positive effect on future UC Santa Cruz students.
