Vice-President (Cost Consulting)
Based: Toronto, ON
I joined WT Partnership as Vice President in the Cost Consulting service line in February of 2020. Working out of the Toronto office, I lead the Cost Consulting service line for the Canadian market. Having already extensively been involved in the hospitality, commercial, education, recreation, defence, and transit sectors, I look forward to growing the Cost Consulting team here in Canada.
Before joining WT, I was most recently head of production for an industry-leading Cost Consulting firm in Toronto delivering Cost Consulting services across a diverse range of projects in multiple sectors. I have spent 11 years working as a Quantity Surveyor in the Middle East, where I focused primarily on Defence, Government, and Hospitality projects. Before my time in the Middle East, I spent 5 years working in the Canadian market as a loan monitor. I have a broad range in experience in multiple roles within the construction Cost Consulting industry and look forward to developing my skills further with WT.
My primary ethos is simple; How can I add value? There is a tremendous sense of achievement when a project has been rationalised and approved for development after undergoing budget constraints. Helping a project team deliver projects is what makes me tick, and so – how can I add value?! What do we need to do to get it done – and then do it.
Outside of work I have a busy life; I’ve two girls who are the centre of my world. I’ve played representative rugby for (an albeit very small) country and went on to become the chairman of a rugby club with over 1,500 members. I’ve written and maintained a popular blog which led to some of my writing being published in a number of publications over the years. I’ve lived in three continents and have often found that taking the path lest travelled is much more interesting.
If you’re looking to chat about costing for a project, or rugby or a new craft beer you’ve discovered – I’m your guy – reach out on LinkedIn or email!
