Meet Ashleigh

Marketing & Proposal Specialist
Based: Toronto, ON

As the Marketing & Proposal Specialist at WT (North America), I am committed to driving strategic growth and innovation. My role not only involves collaborating with our talented team, clients, and industry partners but also shaping initiatives that expand WT’s presence and portfolio across Canada.

When I joined WT in 2022 as the Marketing Lead in New Zealand, I played a key role in establishing and driving nationwide marketing initiatives. I worked closely with Directors to align our marketing and communication strategies with WT’s ambitious strategic vision. My responsibilities included building and managing marketing campaigns, enhancing WT’s brand presence, sponsorship marketing at major industry events, launching new service lines, coordinating bids and proposals, and elevating our digital footprint.

One of my career highlights was serving on the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee and launching the Time for Good initiative. This program empowered our team to volunteer with charities of their choice, resulting in 489 hours of community service invested across Aotearoa (New Zealand). It was incredibly rewarding to facilitate meaningful connections, both within our team and within the communities we serve.

My diverse education and work experience span four continents. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and International Business and a Bachelor of Design Innovation in Media Design, both from the Victoria University of Wellington. Before transitioning to the built environment, I gained valuable industry experience in both in-house and agency roles across retail fashion, crowdfunding consumer goods, medical services, education, community and not-for-profit.
